His Excellency Mr. F\u00e9lix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, paid an official visit to the Republic of Serbia from 27 to 29 November 2025, at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, President of the Republic of Serbia.<\/b><\/p>\n

Official Welcome and Bilateral Meetings<\/b><\/p>\n

Upon his arrival in Belgrade, His Excellency President Tshisekedi was welcomed by\u00a0Mr.<\/span> Ivica Da\u010di\u0107<\/b>, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, together with a delegation of Congolese officials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following\u00a0<\/span>the full military and protocol honours accorded to visits at the highest level<\/b>, the official talks took place at the Palace of Serbia, where the two Heads of State first held a private meeting, followed by an expanded session with members of both delegations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, which have long been characterised by friendship and cooperation rooted in the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement. Both Presidents expressed their shared commitment to reinforcing political, economic, and technical cooperation between the two countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

President Tshisekedi expressed his gratitude to President Vu\u010di\u0107 for\u00a0<\/span>Serbia\u2019s consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Democratic Republic of the Congo<\/b>.<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cMy country is the victim of an unjust and barbaric aggression by a neighbouring State, Rwanda. Feeling supported during such trials is a great source of comfort for us. I therefore wish to thank President Vu\u010di\u0107 for this,\u201d he declared.<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, President Vu\u010di\u0107 thanked his counterpart for\u00a0<\/span>his commitment to the principles of international law<\/b>, which are central to Serbia\u2019s foreign policy and to the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n

During his visit, President Tshisekedi also held productive discussions with\u00a0<\/span>Ms. Ana Brnabi\u0107, President of the National Assembly<\/b>, and with\u00a0<\/span>Mr. Djuro Macut, Prime Minister<\/b>, enabling further institutional dialogue between the two nations.<\/span><\/p>\n
